What Max helped me see was that the only place where being financially successful was synonymous with being abusive was in the mind of the little boy I once was. I’ve been lugging that broken belief around with me since I was a child —  trying to find a way to keep myself safe and protected. He also helped me to see that Imposter Syndrome is a human issue, not a minority issue. That it’s part of the human condition.
